Hi Donna,

We have not changed Brutus’ name.  I just love that name, but we were considering changing it to “Chow Fun” or Chow Mein”, but thought better of it.

Here are a few pictures of Brutus.  I’ve started his Vet Care already and the vet says he’s one of the best Chow’s he’s seen, which says a lot about your breeding technique and care for the puppies.

  • Hi Donna, she arrived in fine shape. You would never know she had just taken a plane ride. I got her about 11:05. They got her off quick. I got her home and she has been running around the backyard already. Climbed into her water bowl already. Right now she's having lunch. Thanks, Thom Miller
  • We got her last night about 11:00 Pm....she is adorable and Jim was just tickled to death with her....that little stinker started wagging her tail the minute I handed her to him...she must have sensed that he's her new Daddy......that gal Janie on the truck really took good care of her and told us she is the nicest one she has seen, she had her all brushed up for us...she said her coat is really nice.....anyway.........we love her and I will send you a picture of her and Jim soon....Thank you so much, I know this has been an ordeal for you....
....just want you to know that he took her to our vet who just happens to be an Orintal woman and she had a fit over her....said she is really good quality, she loved the way you sent those shot records and would you believe that in that huge vet office with 10 vets...they have only one other Chow? amazing.....well have a good day...

  • Hi Donna,
Just figured I'd drop you a line to let you know how Fuji is doing. We've renamed him Kuma which means bear in Japanese because everyone tells us he looks like a stuffed animal and makes little bear grunts when he's playing. He's growing fast and he loves playing with our husky. They get along so well and run around the house wrestling and playing with toys. Its like a zoo here sometimes lol. He's such a smart dog. He was completely house trained in 2days! He hardly ever has an accident inside and when he does its only a lil pee. He's already learned to sit, lay down and give paw, he's such a smart pup and learns so fast. He loves the snow here too and he runs around digging in it and pouncing at the snow banks. He's also such a cuddle bug and curls up and sleeps on Rachel's lap whenever she sits down to watch tv. A habit I told her she might not think is so cute when he's over 100 pounds and thinks he's a lap dog lol. He was so worth the wait and has settled into his new life with ease. Whenever we take him to the pet sore he's the show stopper and everyone flocks to him and he loves it. Thanks for everything and working so hard to get him to us even with the canceled flights and everything. You were always a phone call away and genuinely caring trying your best to keep us informed and up to date with everything. If anyone we know ever wants an akita you can be sure we'll send them your way :). Our puppy experience with you was nothing short of great and you are truly a professional. Please feel free to give any poteinal buyers our info if they want to know about your past pups. We'd be more than happy to let them know how great our lil guy is. I've enclosed some new pics of Kuma.
    Thanks for everything

  • Hi Donna,
She arrived safe and sound today here at Puerto Rico.  When my brother received her at the airport yesterday in TPA, he asked if they can ship her to PR and they did.  There were a few things we had to do but, thank God everything went we'll and she is finally with me.
Everyone at the airport in TPA and PR where in  love with her, she is so cute....   My little girls are crazy for her, they couldn't stop thanking me for purchasing her.  Also, they already had decided a name for her Bailey, I didn't even know :)  ...  Tomorrow I will start with her paper work and activating the microchip; actually I tried to activate the microchip via internet but, they do not have set up PR, so I have to mail the form you sent me. I will take her on saturday to the vet to create her record and complete the shots she needs.
On behalf of me and my family, I want to thank you for sending us our new member of our family, she is amazing...
Take care  and once again THANK YOU...

Hi Donna
Simba got here safe and sound. He is now busy exploring my kitchen. We have been outside in the back yard and he went potty. I fed him a ittle when we got home and he has had water. He went to sleep (on my lap since I was not driving) the last 20 miles or so, so he must be comfortabe with me. I think I am changing his name to Teddy...he just looks like a Teddy to me. He is everything I had hoped for and is just beautiful. I know we are going to get along really well.
Thanks for everything!!
Carol

.

Hi Donna
I thought you might like an update on Teddy (aka Simba). He had his checkup on Saturday and passed with flying colors. He weighs 13.6 lbs and is really active. There are 5 steps down from the porch to the fenced in back yard. He hasn't quite mastered going down but he can come up just fine! He is so spoiled I have to stay out with him. He is really friendly to everyone he has come into contact with but if he hears something outside, he'll bark. I think he is going to be a good little watch dog. My house is going to look like a beaver has been living in here, tho, before he gets out of the chewing stage. He has all kinds of chew toys but he likes the chair legs. Thanks again for all your help and patience with my questions.
Carol
